Manuel Antonio National Park

Manuel Antonio National Park offers nearly eight square miles of lush forest, beach and mangrove habitat that is home to over 150 different species of birds and mammals, including monkeys and sloths. The park was recently recognized in Forbes as one of the world’s 12 most beautiful national parks.

Butterfly Garden

Enjoy a dizzying array of butterfly species, all native to Costa Rica, at the nearby Manuel Antonio  butterfly garden.

Mangrove Tours

Take a leisurely guided boat ride through the mangrove forests. These ultra-quiet boats allow wildlife, including curious families of monkeys, to come right up to your boat.

Café Agua Azul

This is one of the best places to eat in Queupos, providing a great place for an afternoon cocktail or a family dinner, all with an incredible view. This restaurant is just above Hotel Villas El Parque.

Farmers Market

Enjoy browsing the Quepos farmers market that typically begins Friday evening and runs through the day on Saturday. The farmers market offers an incredible selection of local fruits, vegetables, and flowers.


Mountain Biking

The surrounding mountains and jungles near Manuel Antonio National Park provide a perfect setting for every riding level. Guided tours are available to explore hidden waterfalls, traverse steamy jungle paths and take in the glorious coastal vistas from the mountains above.

Take a bird’s eye view of the entire Manuel Antonio coastline in upwards of 600 feet. Parasailing is an easy activity that almost anyone can do.
